Goa fraud
Goa fraud is now official. The file on declaring a tiger reserve in Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary has mysteriously gone “missing.” Years of court orders, public demands, and scientific evidence — erased with one disappearing document.
The state’s principal conservator of forests confirmed it. A fact, not rumor. And yet the Goa government continues its delay game, wasting taxpayer money fighting petitions while habitats vanish. Tigers pay the price. Communities pay the price. Fraud dressed as bureaucracy.
This incompetence is deliberate. When governments want projects approved — dams, mines, highways — files move overnight. But for a tiger reserve? Lost. Forgotten. Denied. Goa joins the long list of states betraying both biodiversity and their own people.
The courts may push, but without political will, tiger corridors crumble. This is exactly how political failure feeds extinction. This Goa fraud isn’t a scandal in isolation—it’s the announcement of a desperate change in power.
